The Dreame machine seems unstoppable! Indeed, while the Dreame V12 keeps western fans of the brand waiting, the Dreame V16 unveiled.
Dreame is, without doubt, one of the most innovative Chinese tech companies of the moment. And they demonstrate it during the Appliance & Electronics World Expo (AWE) 2021, the Chinese version of the Consumer Electronics Show. During this event, the brand showed his new Dreame T30 (upgraded version of the V12) and Dreame L10 Pro, a robot that avoids obstacles.
But, the big surprise is his new flagship, the Dreame V16. We remember how the Dreame V11 performs in front of the Dyson V11. This time, it seems that the Chinese brand wants to continue the battle! Indeed, both brands unveiled their new flagship at the same time and with a similar name. However, where Dreame wants to continue to purpose quality at the best price, Dyson, on the other hand, continues to increase his price. A story that reminds the smartphone war between Xiaomi and Apple.
Dreame V16 close the gap with Dyson

So, what we understand is Dreame wants to be known for his good value price. This is not surprising as Xiaomi invested in Dreame Technology. And Xiaomi is also known for this value. So the Dreame V16 price should stay around 250$ like the previous version. On the opposite, the British brand increases the price of its new Dyson V16 to reach 700$. So it could be interesting to know what each brand give for the price:

Dyson detects the invisible
Comparing to the previous version, the V11, Dyson increase his price of 100$ on the V15 to detect the invisible. We also gain 10 AW of vacuum power. So what we mean by it detect the invisible? Laser Slim floor brush of the Dyson V15 has a laser that detects the particles you can’t normally see. In the end, Dyson made the choice to increase the price of his new vacuum to allow you to clean what you normally don’t see.
Dreame create a more powerful vacuum
On the other hand, Dreame concentrate his effort to create a more powerful vacuum with his new SPACE 6.0 motor. Even if we don’t know the Dreame V16’s price, we suggest that the price will stay the same as the other V series, around 250$. But with the usage of carbon fiber as a premium material could increase the V series price to reach 300 to 400$. Afterward, this is only a thought! Such improvement will decrease the weight drastically to make the Dreame V16 probably the most lightweight vacuum. To conclude the specification, we read that the new Dreame is equipped with a back-projected illuminated floor brush. We also know that the light will adapt to the ambient luminosity. But only the review will let you know which illuminated floor projection between Dreame and Dyson is better.
Lastly, it’s not possible to buy nor Dreame V16 neither Dyson V15 for the moment. But the Dyson should arrive soon in the U.S. as the page is already published on the Dyson website. On the other hand, Dreame will probably launch his new vacuum soon in China. This time, we hope it will be available faster than the Dreame V12 on the overseas market!
